North competes for marching band title tonight
Columbus North High School’s Sound of North will compete for the Class A state marching band championship at 8:06 p.m. today at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $18 for students and preschoolers. Tickets may be purchased at North’s band office through this morning, or are available at the stadium ticket windows near Capitol Avenue.
The Sound of North, competing in the large-school class, will depart from the high school at about 4:45 p.m. today.
Because results won’t be known until after The Republic’s deadline tonight, look for full coverage in Monday’s edition.
