Fall property tax
Deadline looming
The fall installment of 2016 property tax bills is due Nov. 10.
Payment options:
By mail: Send to Bartholomew County Treasurer’s office, P.O. Box 1986, Columbus, IN 47202, postmarked by the due date.
Banks: Must have statement, at Centra Credit Union, First Financial Bank, JCB or MainSource.
24-hour dropbox: Third Street side of Governmental Office Building, 440 Third St., envelopes provided. Include statement, parcel number or address.
In person: Treasurer’s office is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, although it will be closed Nov. 8 for the election.
Credit card: Instruction on back of statement or at bartholomew.in.gov.
Penalties are assessed for late payments.
