Rick Lee Self, 63, of Seymour, Indiana, died at 11 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2016, at his home in Seymour, Indiana, after a four year battle with cancer.
He was born September 12, 1953, in Vincennes, Indiana, the son of the late Wayne A. Self
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Self; wife, Rhonda; three children, Brandi (Brad) Thompson, Nicki (Aaron) Merideth and Ryan (Amanda Clemenz) Self; five grandchildren; brothers, Doug Self, Tim Self and Chuck Self; sister, Lisa Pray.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Voss Chapel with the Rev. Tom Judd officiating. Burial will follow at Kurtz Cemetery with full military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47, Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour.
Friends and family may gather from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Voss Chapel and from 12 p.m. until service time Thursday.
