F. Eileen Eastes, 90, of Egg Harbor City, New Jersey, formerly of Columbus, died at 8:26 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2016, at her home.
Mrs. Eastes was born October 10, 1926, in Bridgeport, Indiana, to William and Susie Denny Logston. She married Donald E. Eastes May 11, 1946. He preceded her in death May 27, 2005.
A homemaker, Mrs. Eastes retired from the Federal Aviation Agency Tech Center in New Jersey.
She was of the Methodist faith and she enjoyed reading, line dancing and working crossword puzzles.
Survivors include daughters, Sharon Inman of Williamstown, New Jersey, and Melinda (Robert) Henry of Egg Harbor City, New Jersey; grandchildren, Daniel Inman, Craig (Julie) Inman, Susie Inman, Erin (Vince) DeJesus, Laurie (Chris) Evelyn-Henry and Bonnie (Jason) Ricci; great-grandchildren, Darrian, Jaiden, Rakaylen, Christopher, Deante, Gavin, Sophia, Chase, Keeley and Darwin; a sister, Jeanetta Fern Graham of Columbus; and a nephew, Gregory Graham of North Vernon.
Mrs. Eastes was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, William and Charles Logston; and a sister, Melba Thompson.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Brian Buterbaugh officiating.
Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Friday.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
