The following offices are closed for Veterans Day on Friday:
- Columbus City Hall
- Columbus City Utilities Office. Regular business hours will resume at 8 a.m. Monday. If you have a problem with your water or sewer service, call 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.
- Bartholomew County Courthouse and other offices
- The Bartholomew County Solid Waste Management District Office and the Columbus/Bartholomew County Recycling Center. However, the Bartholomew County Landfill at 811 E. County Road 450S, will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- All Bureau of Motor Vehicle license branches will be closed. Offices resume regularly scheduled business hours on Saturday. For a list of branch locations and hours or to complete an online transaction, visit mybmv.com.
