Eddie L. Grigsby, 83, of Scipio, died at 2:23 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, at his home.
Mr. Grigsby is survived by his children, Debbie Lawson of Bristol, Virginia, Tony Wayne of Bristol, Tennessee, Shaun (Matt) Cunningham of Bristol, Tennessee, Theresa Bray of Bristol, Virginia, and Vickie (Jay) Bellingham of Dillsboro; siblings, Rose (Sonny) York of North Vernon, Jean Leach of Versailles, Ned Grigsby Jr. of Michigan City, Keith (Nancy) Grigsby of Lansing, Missouri, Alonzo Grigsby of Kansas, Jerry Grigsby of Versailles, Willie (Janey) Grigsby of Versailles, Mae Cox of Madison, Connie (Danny) Poer of Butlerville and Diane Cararra of Florida; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Virgil Clotfelter officiating. Calling will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time Monday. Burial with full military rites conducted by Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard will be at Donaldson Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defray expenses.
