Dr. Samuel Locoh-Donou has joined Emergency Physicians Inc. of Columbus and will practice at Columbus Regional Hospital Emergency Department.

He is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed a residency in emergency medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He also holds a master’s degree in public health.

A sweet shop called “Oh Sweetie,” owned by Nichole and Derek Young, recently opened at 3988 25th St.

The shop offers sweets that vary daily but always include handcrafted ice pops from the Youngs’ original business, The Flop Ice Pop Co., and Mami’s Gelato as well as confections and baked goods from time to time.

Mackenzie Eddy has joined Royal Title Services as manager of the Columbus location at 223 Washington St. She is responsible for managing and growing the Royal Title footprint in Columbus and surrounding counties. She graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 2012 with a bachelor of science in marketing.

Royal Title is an Indiana-based title insurance company that provides statewide service to all 92 Indiana counties, and this year is celebrating 50 years of doing business in Columbus.

Tanya Montgomery has joined Centra Credit Union as a mortgage loan originator, primarily serving Columbus, Seymour and surrounding markets. A graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University, she holds a degree in business administration and has 18 years of experience in banking, most recently at BloomBank in Seymour.

Zen Fitness will have a grand opening celebration from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at its new location, 639 Washington St. Free classes will be offered in yoga, barre and the Pow(h)er Method. Also, door prizes, food and shopping will be offered along with grand-opening specials.

Keith Luken has been named top loan originator in the Ruoff Home Mortgage office at 1160 Washington St. for the month of October.
