The Army announced it was considering giving Camp Atterbury permanent long-term mobile base status, which would mean the camp would be ready at all times to facilitate a massive mobilization should the need arise.


Cummins Engine Co., which recalled 45 employees earlier in the month, announced another 70 furloughed workers would be called back to work in early December because of continued increasing orders for its electronically controlled engines.
