James E. “Jim” Staten, 70, died Sunday evening, November 13, 2016, at his home in Freetown.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Gail” (Beasley) Staten; children, John (Brenda) Shore of Seymour and Jessica Pfeiffer of Medora; sister, Anita Fry of Indianapolis; and two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dobbs Cemetery in Brown County. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
