Herschel A. Cook, 88, of North Vernon, died at 9:11 a.m. Friday, November 11, 2016, at his residence.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. The Rev. James Radford will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen (Ron) Norris and Kathy (Chris) Guess, both of North Vernon; brother, William Cook of Seymour; four grandsons; and seven great-grandchildren.
Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his wife, Reta Mae.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of Jennings County.
