Student organizing food drive for senior project

Noah Ferrill, a senior at Columbus East High School, has organized a food drive for his senior project, and donations will go to Love Chapel to benefit the Brighter Days Housing, the homeless shelter at 421 S. Mapleton St. in Columbus.

Donations of canned and dry food are being accepted at the following Columbus locations now through Jan. 15:

St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 719 Fifth St.

Columbus Learning Center, 4555 Central Ave.

Edward Jones branches: Ryan Burchfield, 2405 Cottage Ave.; Betsy Free, 1006 25th St.; Lisa Duke, 1505 25th St.; Ken Free, 1712 Central Ave.; John Hayden, 732 Washington St.; Bob Lewis, 430 Fourth St.; Andy Mann, 3200 Sycamore Court; Eric Robbins, N. 3525 Two Mile House Road; David E.
