Edinburgh
Stephen L. “Novi” Thompson, 66, of Edinburgh, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.
He was born September 14, 1950, in Franklin, Indiana, the son of Everett and Edelle Roush Thompson. He married Pam T. Green August 2, 1975.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Angie Thompson of Edinburgh; an uncle, Kenton (Mary Alice) Roush of Carmel, Indiana; and an aunt, Wendola Thompson of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Stephen was a member of Edinburgh United Methodist Church. He was employed at CEW Enterprises in North Vernon as a purchasing manager and formerly worked at Como Plastics in Columbus. He was an avid race car fan and enjoyed fishing.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2016, by the Rev. Sean Johnson at Edinburgh United Methodist Church. Calling will be at the church from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
