Dennie Box, 73, of Scipio, died at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2016, at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Box of Scipio; son, Greg (Stacey) Box of Westport; daughter, Jeanine (Bill) Garcia of Scipio; his mother, Jean Sheckell of New Albany; sister, Cindi Vaughn of Louisville, Kentucky; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son Dwayne Box.
A funeral service for Mr. Box will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with the Rev. Connie Barr officiating. Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday at funeral home. Burial will be in the Bear Creek Baptist Cemetery in Jennings County.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of Jennings County.
