Third Street, which is also westbound State Road 46, will be closed temporarily between Franklin and Lindsey streets Saturday for the city’s 26th annual Festival of Lights parade.
The closure will be in effect from 5:30 to 10 p.m., according to the Indiana Department of Transportation. The parade will require motorists being detoured from Third Street at Franklin Street north to Eleventh Street, west through the roundabout, then south on Lindsey Street.
The parade route will head south on Brown (the opposite of normal traffic flow), east onto Third (again, the opposite of normal traffic) and then north onto Washington Street and then west onto Eighth Street.
