Edinburgh
Waunetta L. Hilderbrand, 93, of Edinburgh, Indiana, passed away November 30, 2016, at Willow Crossing Health and Rehabilitation in Columbus, Indiana. She was born July 22, 1923, in Bloomington, Indiana, the daughter of James M. and Maggie I. (Norman) Ritter. She married Russell D. Hilderbrand on June 24, 1939, and he preceded her in death on October 6, 2006.
Survivors include a son, Russell Dale (Erin) Hilderbrand Jr. of Columbus, Indiana; a daughter, Barbara Malloy of South Dakota; and grandchildren, Cheryl Johnson, Tommy Malloy, Tammatha Sleator, Duane Hilderbrand, Nicholas Hilderbrand, Nicole Hilderbrand, Akia Hilderbrand and Jerry Perrine.
She was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Joe Hilderbrand; brothers, Arthur Ritter and James A. Ritter; and sisters, Hazel Blackwell, Ester Ritter, Dorothy Ritter, Drotha Ritter and Helen Clampitt.
She was a member of Edinburgh Full Gospel Church and was retired from Alma Plastics.
Funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Douglas Smith at 10 a.m. Monday, December 5, 2016, at Edinburgh Full Gospel Church. Calling will be from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh and from 9:00 a.m. until time of service Monday at the church. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Indiana.
