Columbus Wiese auto dealership announced plans to move to a new location north of Columbus on U.S. 31 near the Interstate 65 interchange.

1991

Gov. Evan Bayh declared Columbus Capital for a Day, moving some state government operations to the city for a day and giving his staff a chance to learn more about the city and it’s role in statewide business.

1966

The 1966 Columbus High School yearbook, The Log, earned an All-American rating, the highest honor given by the National Scholastic Press Association.
