Timothy Drew McKain, 58, of Columbus, died unexpectedly Sunday, December 4, 2016, in Naples, Florida.
Mr. McKain loved spending the winters in Naples with his fiancée, Tina. He was an IU soccer and basketball fanatic and had recently picked up the new hobby of whittling wood. Tim also enjoyed attending church and spending time with his family.
He was born in Columbus, Indiana, July 28, 1958, to the late David and Betty Bruning McKain.
Survivors include his children, Kristin (Zach) Barras of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Matthew McKain of Indianapolis; fiancée, Tina Roberts Bishop of Columbus; brothers, Steve (Jane) McKain of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, and Scott (Barbara) McKain of Columbus; sisters, Kathy (Nick) Tschudny of Terre Haute, Indiana, and Jill (David) Keach of St. Louis, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 719 Fifth St., with the Rev. Patrick Galligar officiating. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
