Geneva (Coffey) Noe, 83, of Hope, died at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2016, at her residence.

Geneva was born in Columbia, Kentucky, March 23, 1933, to the late Finis and

Annie (Sneed) Coffey. Geneva married Pete Noe December 23, 1966, in Columbus.

She retired from Holiday Inn after 25-plus years. Geneva enjoyed sewing, quilting, watching NASCAR racing and, most of all, spending time with her grandchildren .

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Arthur Schwenk officiating. Family and friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Geneva is survived by two sisters, Lorene Brown and Nancy Gabbard, both of Columbus; her daughter, Judy (Charles) Townsend of Columbus; grandchildren, Angela (Earl) Bontrager of Hope, Shila Ault of Florida, and Christina Townsend of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Deseree (Tyrone) Ansley of Florida, Danielle (Greg) Drysdale of

Hope, Adam Ault of Florida, Levi Bontrager of Hope, Shyann Ault of Florida, Caylin Reeves and Ryan Reeves, both of Columbus; eight great-great-grandchildren, including Xavier Drysdale and Kambry Drysdale; and several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

Geneva is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Pete Noe.
