Alice Mae McKinney, 87, of Columbus, died at 9:40 p.m., Saturday, December 17, 2016, at home.
She was born September 20, 1929, the daughter of Lawrence B. and Christena Ogilvie Welmer of Columbus.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Columbus and, if asked, she would say that her family was her life.
She is survived by her son, Roger McKinney of Columbus; daughters, Connie Baldwin of Columbus and Linda Hacker of Seymour; grandchildren, Krista Tunny of Napoleon, Brent McKinney of Hope, Jason Baldwin, Kindra Parrish and Josh Baldwin, all of Columbus; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, Steven McKinney.
The funeral service will be held at noon Thursday at First Baptist Church, 3300 Fairlawn Drive, Columbus, with Dr. Daniel Cash officiating. Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will follow at Garland Brook Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church.
