Betty J. Hornback, 68, of South Pleasant Street, Edinburgh, died at 4:25 a.m. December 21, 2016, at Franklin United Methodist Community.
Betty was born December 27, 1947, in Columbus, the daughter of Marlowe and Ruth Ault McKee. She married Paul A. Hornback December 23, 1967.
For 30 years, Betty loved working for the town of Edinburgh as a payroll clerk. She loved her family even more, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Paul; son, Toby A. Hornback of Muncie; daughter, Tamara (Paul) Chappelow of Edinburgh; brother, Danny (Brenda) McKee of Amity; and granddaughters, Sarah E. Chappelow and Emily Chappelow.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, December 23, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Greg Roberts officiating. Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association through the funeral home.
