Because Christmas Day falls on a Sunday this year, The Republic will not be publishing a Sunday edition.
Instead, a Saturday “weekend edition” will include all of the regular Saturday features and popular Sunday features such as the TV/Comics section, advertising inserts and engagements/weddings/anniversaries. The single-copy price on Saturday will be $2.
The Republic’s new office at 2980 N. National Road will be closed Saturday through Monday, reopening at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Customer-service hours for delivery calls over the weekend are as follows:
- Saturday, 7 a.m. to noon
- Sunday, no hours
- Monday, 6 to 9 a.m.
