Panthers move into final
BROOKVILLE — Jennings County won a pair of games Thursday to advance to the championship game of the Franklin County Invitational.
The Panthers (5-8) will play Bishop Chatard for the title at 1 p.m.
Jennings needed overtime to knock off Tipton 52-44. Sidney Gerkin scored 24 points, and Callie Wilder added 10.
The Panthers then jumped outto a 23-11 halftime lead on their way to a 45-31 win against South Dearborn. Wilder led Jennings with nine points.
