Eileen V. Steinbarger, 91, of Hope, died Friday, December 30, 2016, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Hope.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She was a member of Royal Neighbors of America.
Eileen was born on January 16, 1925, in Bartholomew County. She married William Steinbarger Sr. in February of 1946 and he preceded her in death on January 24, 2005.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. Burial will follow at Hope Moravian Cemetery.
Survivors include her son, Bill (Lois) Steinbarger Jr. of Hope and grandson, Jamie Phelps of Shelbyville.
Eileen is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Mickey Phelps; her grandchildren, Lanetta Bode, Jeremy D. Steinbarger and Stacy Jaggers; her great-grandchildren, Jessica and Michael; her sisters, Maxine and Norma; and her brothers, Donald Richard, Herb and Dave.
