Mildred Adelaide “Midge” Wilson, 86, passed from this life at 2:25 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Midge was a member of Faith Lutheran Church where she was a former member and president of the Altar Guild, and a former member of the Alpha Circle.

She was a former leader of the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.

Midge enjoyed people and had the gift of hospitality.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Faith Lutheran Church with the Rev. Todd Riordan officiating.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike and 10 a.m. to time of service at the church. Burial will be at Brown County Memorial Park in Nashville.

Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church.

Midge was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, February 23, 1930, to William E. and Regina M. Donohoe Ertman.

She married, James E. Wilson Sr., June 9, 1951. He preceded her in death March 16, 1997.

Survivors include her children, Rev. Dr. James E. (Ann) Wilson Jr. of Columbus, Ohio, Michael (Michael Combs) Wilson of Columbus, Larime Wilson of Bloomington and Megan Wilson of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Jacob (Kelly) Wilson and Peter (Amanda) Wilson; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Avery and Grant Wilson; and a sister, Ellen Rangos of Monroeville, Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Regina “Gina” Wilson; a brother, William Ertman; and a sister, Elizabeth Mozeik.
