Seymour firefighters have responded to a fire in a building in the 100 block of West Second Street in downtown Seymour.
In the building housing Hair Force Beauty Academy and Second Street Styles, smoke was billowing from a doorway leading to an upstairs residential area, and flames were coming from the back of the building.
At this time, no injuries have been reported.
Those living in the building were able to escape.
The fire was reported around 11:30 a.m. today.
