Jennings County over South Dearborn
AURORA — Jennings County wrestling advanced to 16-4 on the season after a 44-30 victory against South Dearborn on Tuesday.
Victor Antunez (113) won on a pin at the 2:53 mark midway through the second period. Dalton Craig (126) won 12-3 against semi-state finalist Garrett Walton while Brooks Wathen won on a 12-3 match as well. Zane Beineke (160) won his match after pinning his opponent just 34 seconds into the match.
Other wins came from Alex Skelton (170) after pinning his opponent in 53 seconds, and Sam Woolf (182) won his match against South Dearborn’s Max Lane. Brendan Sutton (285) ended the night for the Panthers with the final pin 18 seconds into the second period.
