Victim not seriously injured in stabbing

Columbus police detectives are looking for a woman who is accused of stabbing her husband at their apartment.

Police were sent to the 1000 block of Phoenix Court — north of 10th Street in the central part of the city — at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday where they spoke to the victim, a 44-year-old local man.

The victim told police that he was in an argument with his 32-year-old wife when she grabbed a knife and began swinging it at him, said Lt. Matt Harris, Columbus Police Department spokesman.

The victim was stabbed once in the stomach and transported to Columbus Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Harris said.
