Thomas and Nancy Lynn of Silver Fox Drive planned to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family vacation in Florida.
Mr. Lynn and the former Nancy McKale were married Jan. 7, 1967, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church by Father Patrick Gleason.
Mr. Lynn is retired from Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp.
Mrs. Lynn retired from Lawson, Pushor, Mote & Gamso.
The couple have two children, Adam Lynn of Leesville, Louisiana, and Megan Dettle of Cape Carteret, North Carolina. They also have four grandchildren.
