Union Street
Leah D. Martin, 46, of Union Street, passed away Jan. 5, 2017, at Columbus Regional Hospital. She was born June 20, 1970, in Columbus.
Leah is survived by her mother, Ronda (Martin) Illig and her husband Jim; sons, Kedric Martin of Columbus and Christopher Wilson of Texas; daughters, Jasmyne Martin and Jayla Frietzsche, both of Columbus; sisters, Neah Martin (her twin) and Jamie Rose, both of Columbus; and a brother, Brian Martin of Columbus. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Dre`Von Martin, Jaysic Banks, Aniyah Banks, Kamara Martin, Maddyx Banks and Aria Wilson.
Leah was preceded in death by her father, James A. Martin on Oct. 31, 2008, and her niece, Tori Martin on June 23, 2011.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Glowacki and Mr. Reggie Booker officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
