LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Gwinnett County police are investigating after a woman’s body was found in a plastic storage bin in the front yard of a Lawrenceville home.

Officers were called to the scene shortly after 1 p.m. Thursday by a homeowner who found the body.

WSB-TV (http://2wsb.tv/2jcl4od ) reports the victim is a black female whose body has begun to show signs of decomposition. There is no known age range. Officers are working to identify her.

Investigators believe the victim was killed somewhere else and then brought to the home and dumped in the front yard.
