PHOENIX — Authorities are investigating the shooting death of a 22-year-old Glendale man at a party early on Friday morning.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office says Irvin Salazar-Murillo died after being dropped off at a hospital.

Police responded to a Laveen-area home they say was connected to the shooting, but about 14 people inside refused to come out and cooperate. They eventually came out and were detained.

The sheriff’s office is still investigating the shooting.
