Greensburg
Esther Gail Dale Mitchell, 89, of Greensburg, died at 5:35 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at Morning Breeze Nursing Home.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathie (Larry) Romine of Phoenix, Arizona; son, David (Cindy) Dale of Greensburg; step-daughter, Mary Lou Mitchell of Indianapolis; brother, Lewis Hancock of Greensburg, six grandchildren; two step-grandsons; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Vanus Dale and Richard Mitchell.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home at Westport with the Rev. David Burnett officiating. Burial will follow at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus. A time of visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
