Columbus Parks and Recreation Department has closed the People Trail in two locations because of high water.
Sections closed are around the Northbrook area and the trail west of Columbus along State Road 46 and Interstate 65. Tunnels that go under the interstate are flooded and the trail is closed there.
Parks officials asked residents to use caution if considering using the trails this weekend. Areas prone to flooding, including those listed above, may be inaccessible.
