The matchups are set for Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. Elementary Basketball League’s Super Saturday basketball and cheerleading championships.
The schools advancing to Saturday’s basketball semi-final action are the same in both boys and girls action.
Here is what’s on tap Saturday at Columbus North High School.
Boys tournament semifinal games:
- Rockcreek vs Southside, 8 a.m.
- Mt. Healthy vs. Smith, 9:15 a.m.
Winners will play in boys championship game at 6 p.m.
Girls tournament semifinal games:
- Rockcreek vs Southside, 10:30 a.m.
- Mt. Healthy vs. Smith, 11:45 a.m.
Winners will meet in the girls championship game at 7:30 p.m.
The Super Saturday elementary school cheerleading competition begins at 2:30 p.m., with doors opening at 1:45 p.m. All 11 of the district’s elementary schools will compete in cheerleading, in the following order: Taylorsville, Columbus Signature Academy — Fodrea, Southside, Columbus Signature Academy —Lincoln, Rockcreek, Mt. Healthy, Parkside, Schmitt, Clifty Creek, Richards and Smith.
The full-day event will be broken up into three sessions, with each requiring new admission:
- Basketball semi-finals, doors open at 7:30 a.m.
- Cheerleading, doors open at 1:45 p.m.
- Basaketball finals, doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Cost: Ticket prices for each session will be $3 for adults, $2 for students or $7 for a family pass. Separate admission required for each of three sesssions (semifinal basketball, cheerleading and finals basketball)
