Ellis C. Kerns, 70, of Columbus, died Jan. 18, 2017, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Verna Swope Kerns; a daughter, Marie Deweerdt of Nineveh; a sister, Cora Smalley of Kensington, Ohio; and four grandchildren.
Graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh by the Rev. Jeff Johnson.
Memorials may be made to Gideons International.
