ROACHDALE — Brown County jumped out to a 22-8 halftime lead Friday night and went on to post a 48-29 win at North Putnam in the Western Indiana Conference 11th-place game.
Aubrey Hollander led the Eagles (6-12) with 15 points. Maddy Edds added 13, and Azhia Morgan had 12.

Crusaders drop close one
INDIANAPOLIS — Columbus Christian jumped out to an 11-0 lead at Southside Christian Thursday night but couldn’t hang on and fell 39-37.
Evan Reed led the Crusaders (17-4) with 10 points. Kyle Marsh added nine.
