Housing Partnerships Inc. received a $550,800 state grant earmarked for use in rehabilitating 11 houses in preparation for resale to disadvantaged Columbus families.

1992

After an informal survey conducted by The Republic’s Associate Editor Harry McCawley, Bartholomew County Courthouse was chosen by the community as their favorite building and was dubbed “the queen” by one voter.

1967

United Fund of Bartholomew County was formally organized and officers were elected after several months of study and planning for a local combined charities organization.
