Rex Eldred Miller, 81, of Scipio, died at 5 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
He is survived by his sons, Kevin (Paula) Miller of Scipio and Keith “Rick” Miller of Seymour; daughters, Kim (Phil) Chamberlin, Tracy Bowling and Amy (Roy Sharp) Miller, all of Scipio; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Eileen Miller; and daughters, Cheryl Bowman and Kathy Miller.
A funeral service for Mr. Miller will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Monday at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Family and friends may call from 4 p.m. until time of service on Monday at the funeral home. Private burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Scipio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Rex and Eva Miller Community Kindness Fund.
