Pair of bowlers roll 300s in Tuesday Night Men’s League

Two bowlers in the Tuesday Night Men’s League recorded perfect games last week.

Diante Fields and Richard Jordan each notched a 300 game to share high-game honors, and Fields had the high series with a 787. Central Roofing posted the team high game (1,256), Reliable Comfort had the team high series (3,601), and Gray’s Pro Shop leads the team standings at 116-44.

John Zieleniuk tallied the men’s high game (278) and series (759), and Courtney Barker had the women’s high game (238) and series (650) in the Sunday Night Mixed League. Independents rolled the team high game (984), The Menaces had the team high series (2,766) and Here We Go Again leads the team standings at 102-50.

Shannon Antcliff recorded the women’s high game (224) and series (604) in the Wednesday Night Mixed League. Richard Baldwin had the men’s high game (255), and Babe Herron notched the men’s high game (701). CBC No. 2 had the team high game (884), Bush’s Market posted the team high series (2,515) and CBC No. 1 leads the team standings at 114-46.

Panthers move to 9-1

The Jennings County seventh-grade girls White team improved to 9-1 with a pair of wins last week.

The Panthers routed St. Mary’s of Greensburg 44-3 on Tuesday behind 15 points from Ruth Bingham. Kali Thompson scored 12 points Thursday in a 29-24 win against Southwestern (Hanover).

Jennings’ eighth-grade girls Blue team beat St. Mary’s 30-8 on Tuesday. Jackie Blevins scored 11 points, and Averi Zamora added 10.

The Panthers’ seventh-grade boys White team edged St. Peter’s 56-53 on Tuesday. Carson McNulty led Jennings with 13 points, while Jacob Vogel added 11 and Logan McIntosh had 10.

The Panthers bounced back from Tuesday’s 48-39 loss to St. Peter’s with a 40-33 win against Seymour on Thursday.

Lane Lauderbaugh scored 16 points against St. Peter’s, and Trey Wilson had 10 against St. Peter’s and 16 against Seymour.
