Crusaders fall in OT

Columbus Christian took Class A No. 12 Bethesda Christian to the wire Friday night before falling 59-55 in overtime.

Logan Roth returned from an ankle injury to lead the Crusaders (18-5) with 22 points. Blake Barker added 13.

Eagles take 12th

NASHVILLE — Greencastle knocked off Brown County 55-42 on Friday in the Western Indiana Conference 11th-place game.

Ezra Scully led the Eagles (3-11) with 10 points. Jordan Samples added nine.

Eagles outlast Monrovia

MONROVIA — Monrovia rallied from a 14-point fourth-quarter deficit to send the game into overtime, but Maddy Edds scored 10 of her career-high 37 points in the extra periods to lead Brown County to an 87-82 double-overtime win on Thursday.

Ryanne Smith added 14 points for the Eagles (7-14). Azhia Morgan had 11.

Panthers top Grizzly Cubs

NORTH VERNON — Jennings County closed the regular season Thursday with a 57-50 win against Franklin.

Sidney Gerkin led the Panthers (9-14) with 22 points. Callie Wilder added 12.
