Zola Mae (Romine) Crenshaw, 90, of Chesterfield, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 29, 2017, at the Golden Living Center in Muncie, with her children by her side. She was born on May 19, 1926, in Columbus, Indiana, and resided most of her life in Chesterfield.

Zola graduated from Columbus High School, and she was a homemaker and loving mother.

She was a member of Chesterfield Christian Church and Chesterfield Women’s Booster Auxillary. In appreciation for all of Zola’s dedicated work for the town of Chesterfield, the town renamed their Halloween parade in her honor. She was also a member of the Spoon and Thimble Home Ec Club in Chesterfield and Electa Circle at her church.

Zola is survived by her loving children, Annette Bush, Fayette (Randy) Beauchamp, Janette (Jon) Holtzleiter, Robert (Diane) Trotter, Becky (Steve) Spears; step-children, Debbie, Stanley and Larry; grandchildren, Greg, Scott and Jared Bush, Cindy Hand, Dan and Russ Beauchamp, Angela and Kate Driskell, Rob, Tim, Nathaniel and Richey Trotter, Krista Talhelm, Emily and Elijah Spears; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Ione Romine; father, Charles Quinten Romine; brothers, Norval Romine, Floyd Romine and Horace Romine; and her son-in-law, Vanis R. Bush Jr.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, and from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the church. Services will be at nooon Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017, at the Chesterfield Christian Church, 207 E. Plum St., Chesterfield, with the Rev. Ned Clark officiating. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park.
