Westport
James Henry Brewer, 82, of Westport, died at 1:34 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017, at his residence.
He married Emma Haddix on Jan. 31, 1958, and she survives. Other survivors include his daughter, Donna (Clinton) Powell; his sons, Eddie (Sheri) Brewer, James R. (Madalyn) Brewer, Kevin (Robin) Brewer, all of Westport and David (Nancy) Brewer of Scipio; his sister, Fanny Irvin of Newport, Kentucky; and brothers, William “Billy” (Wilma) Brewer of Westport; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport. Burial will follow at the Westport Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Westport Volunteer Fire Department, Life Apostolic Church or Our Hospice through the funeral home.
