Brownstown
Mr. James E. Bode, 69, of Brownstown, died at 11:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2017, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Joan E. Parker; children, Jennifer (Daniel) Freese Drummond and Dana (LaTrisha) Freese; sisters, Judy Woodson and Diana Acree; brother, Robert Bode Jr.; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Voss & Sons Funeral Service with Br. Paul Rogers officiating, assisted by Pastor Daryl Amis.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Voss & Sons Funeral Service and from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday.
To follow through with Jim’s request, cremation will follow the funeral at Voss & Sons Crematory and burial will take place at a later date in Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.
