Mary G. Hampton, 86, of Westport, died at 10:40 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, at her residence.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Carmen Hampton of Westport; her son, Richard Hampton of North Vernon; her sisters, Lucinda Armand of Atlanta, Georgia and Ruth Clarkson of Westport; her brother, George Cann of Westport; her two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvis Hampton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Walby officiating. Burial will follow at the Westport Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on from noon until time of service on Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the donor’s choice.
