Howard Frederick Pearson, 72, of North Vernon, died at 3:53 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Mr. Pearson is survived by his two sons, Alvin Frederick (Amber) Pearson of Lexington, Indiana and Howard Brian Pearson of North Vernon; one sister, Ruth Bird of North Vernon; three brothers, Raymond (Sharon) Pearson and Kenneth (Carol) Pearson, both of North Vernon and John Pearson of Scottsburg, Indiana; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Pearson will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home & Cremation Services in North Vernon with the Rev. Sherman Beville officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and one hour prior to the services Wednesday.
Burial will take place at Butlerville Cemetery in Butlerville, Indiana with military honors provided by Matt Hester Post #2021 Veterans of Foreign Wars in North Vernon.
