Seymour
Patrick P. Warinner, 69, of Seymour, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017, at his home.
Born Feb. 10, 1948, in Passaic, New Jersey, he was the son of Patrick Warinner Sr. and Evelyn Mary (Wientenberg) Warinner.
On Nov. 24, 1973, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Seymour, Patrick married Susan M. Elsner, who passed away on April 1, 2002.
Patrick graduated from Crothersville High School in 1966 and attended Hanover College. He worked at Scott Manufacturing for 40 years and then for Valeo Sylvania, retiring in 2013. Patrick enjoyed taking photos, researching family genealogy, and reading and studying U.S. history. He was an avid I.U. basketball fan and enjoyed watching his great-nieces play basketball.
Survivors include his sister, Ethel R. Perry of Columbus; brothers-in-law, Tim (Sandy) Elsner, Tom Elsner and Pete (Kelley) Elsner; sister-in-law, Lisa (Dennis) Runge; nieces, Phillis (Alan) Ballard and Rhiannon (Troy) Napier; great-nieces, Brooke and Britney Ballard.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Susan.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre in Seymour, with visitation starting at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery following services.
