Harry Edward Huddleston, 77, of Union Street, died at 8:40 a.m. February 12, 2017, at his home.

Harry was born June 3, 1939, in Glasgow, Kentucky, the son of Harry Edward and Bertha Fishburn Huddleston. He married Edith M. Alexander and she preceded him in death.

He retired in 2004 from Dorel after 36 years of service. He loved working on cars and everything with a motor.

The funeral will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Poynter officiating. Calling will be from 4 p.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Harry Huddleston Memorial Fund through the funeral home.

Survivors include his son, Edward Jewell Huddleston Sr. of Columbus; brothers, Noah Huddleston of Columbus, Gene (Jean) Huddleston of North Vernon and Doug (Bridget) Huddleston of Azalia; a sister, Edith Durham of Seymour; grandchildren, Edward Jewell Huddleston Jr., Corey Allen Huddleston and Bryce Matthew Huddleston; and a great-grandson, Brayden Michael Haddix.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Edith; sons, Marshall, Jimmy and Timmy Huddleston; a daughter, Tina L. Huddleston; brother, Bill Huddleston; and sisters, Dorothy Jessie and Annie Piper.
