Barbara J. “Andy” Robertson, 87, of Columbus, passed from this life at 5:18 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2017, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
She worked as a secretary to the principals of Southside Junior High School and Northside Middle School for 26 years, retiring in 2002. She was a member of Fairlawn Presbyterian Church, past president of Epsilon Chapter of Psi Iota Xi Philanthropic Sorority and an active member of the sorority’s auxiliary group, and a member of Evening Star Quilting Guild. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and reading American history books.
Barbara was born to Roy R. and Virginia Liles Anderson on April 12, 1929.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m.Friday at Barkes, Weaver, & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike with the Rev. Felipe Martinez officiating.
Family and friends may call from 9 a.m.until time of service at the funeral home.
Private graveside services will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Survivors include her children, Terry Robertson of Columbus and Jenny Robertson of Newton, Massachusetts.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Colleen Duncan.
