The local African American Pastors Alliance will present its 16th annual Gospel Musical at 4 p.m. Sunday.
The event will be conducted at Faith Hope and Love Church of God In Christ, 11401 E. Indiana 7, Elizabethtown.
The free gathering open to all is part old-time revival, part social studies recap and part bonding experience for the area minority community. Last year’s event attracted 130 people from various backgrounds and churches.
The crowd frequently has included community leaders and other dignitaries. Last year, several people said they particularly enjoyed the energetic, bluesy, black gospel numbers.
The pastors group launched the musical originally as a way of building bridges between area churches.
