Carolyn Sue Easton, 72, of Columbus, Indiana entered into eternal life to be with Jesus Christ, Saturday, February 18, 2017. Carolyn, native to Rushville, Indiana, was married to Julius Easton. To this union, three children were born.

Carolyn retired from Dolly Madison’s Bakery where she worked for 20 years. Carolyn, known to all as “Sue”, was the top graduate in her class from Madam C.J. Walker’s School of Cosmetology. As an entrepreneur, Sue practiced as a licensed cosmetologist for several years and kept her license active until death. Carolyn Sue Easton was a faithful member of Bible Church of Columbus where she enjoyed lifting her voice to God by participating in the church choir. Carolyn loved to cook, spend time with family and friends and workout with ZUMBA.

Carolyn, the daughter of Keller Davis and Nettie Mynhier, leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Kimberly and Kelly Easton, both of Columbus; grandchildren, Lake Alexandria Whitehead, Andrew Leighton and Keagan Isaac William Easton; one great-grandson, Andre’ Vance Whitehead; two surviving brothers, Paul and William Davis, both of Rushville, Indiana; and dozens of treasured nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2017, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Jerry K. Day Sr. officiating. Calling will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from 12 p.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Lung Association.
